Lewellen-St. Clair Endowment

Criteria:

First preference shall be given to a student athlete from Mitchell or Morrill, NE. Second preference shall be given to a student in fine arts from Mitchell or Morrill.

The Lewellen-St. Clair endowment was established by Verne Lewellen and his aunt, Stella Mae St. Clair, for the benefit of students in the Mitchell and Morrill area. Stella was born in Lincoln and graduated from the University of Nebraska. She taught English in Lyman, Nebraska for many years, and was a supporter and admirer of athletics and the fine arts.
